Amazing support over Christmas

So, a massive thank you to everyone for your support over 2021 - we are constantly blown away by the feedback we get on the veg and the boxes and LOVE that we are making a very small dent in the local supermarket veg sales. The pic below is just some of the veg that was pre-ordered from the shop - Chris absolutely nailed the order and got quantities pretty much spot on which was a big relief!

We have lots of ideas and plans for 2022, but ultimately our focus is on getting you guys the best veg we can, and making sure as many people as possible can have access to it.

All the best to our customers and supporters for 2022, and hope it's a kinder, less anxious one for all of us.

Eat Your Greens veg boxes:

Box delivery starts again next week (so don't forget to pick your box up if you collect your box from the shop).

If you pay weekly and paused your payments over Christmas don't forget to restart them, and if you didn't pause them you'll have a credit on your account.

The Vale Grocer shop:

We are open as normal tomorrow (Friday) 9.30-1.30 but limited stock.

Plenty of: Potatoes, onions, carrots, parsnips, red cabbages, swede, beetroot, squash, swede, fresh garlic / ginger / turmeric

Limited: Sweet potatoes, Prion leeks, Prion sprouts, Prion kale, Prion salad, Prion cabbages*

Fruit: Oranges, clementines

*If you know you want anything from the field it helps if we can know asap today to give us an idea of what to harvest. We may be limited on what we can get so pre-ordering will definitely avoid any disappointment.

+ local free-range eggs (unlikely tomorrow but may have some)

+ local Cae Main apple juice

+ local sourdough bread from Nant y Felin restaurant

Recipe Inspiration:

Sorry, no recipes today but we did get a couple of new recipe books for Christmas - Rick Stein and a Hugh Fearnely-Whittingstall 'what to do with leftovers' so will be sharing some of those gems.Once again, thank you for your ongoing support and look forward to getting you great veg in 2022.

have a good week
